    Wooden Doll House

I was visting a friend recently who just purchased a wooden doll house kit to put together for her daughter. When completed, it will be a beautiful colonial home complete with front porch. Just sorting out the pieces is a daunting job, not to mention staining, painting and assembling. It will become a family heirloom no doubt. Has anyone ever attempted to make a doll house, and if so, how long did it take to put together?

A family friend once put together a Victorian-style doll house for me when I was a kid. Apparently it took him 40 hours to put together! I hope your friend has plenty of time before the house needs to be ready.

A sister of mine got one for her birthday when she was a child. It think it is a good way of spending time with your kids. You don't need to rush to do the project, right?
