    Homemade Paper

I'd really like to start making my own paper by recycling used junk mail, etc. I'm not exactly sure where to start and was wondering if anyone else does this. I know the basics, but I'm not sure if I would need to use any type of a binder. Any help would be appreciated.

You can probably start by pulping your waste paper but you will need to bleach out the ink from the pulp. I find some of the best paper comes from dryer lint. I also use mushrooms and other natural fibers. Most papers are coated but a binder is not necessary, the fibers bind just fine on the deckle.

    good luck
