Our neighbor just picked up 6 calves (2 of them were already sick with scours) Anyway, he had calves a year ago and stored the milk replacer in a large plastic trash can. We offered to help feed the calves, and I noticed that the milk replacer has weevils in it. Neither one of us know if it is still o.k. to feed to the calves or if it should all be discarded. Does anyone know if weevils can hurt baby calves? Anyone have any home remedies or advice on taking care of the 2 calves with scours?
