We have not come up with a name yet for our land. Mostly we just call it "the land" Maby when the house is up, and we move a name will come to us.

The development is "Vista Royale". Ours is Canine Vista.
When I lived in an apartment, I used to tell my dog that we were going to "camp" when we would visit my parent's house (1 acre).
Now that we bought a place, my parents tell their dogs that they are going to visit the "farm". All of 4 acres
We dogsat for them last week. We had a total of 4 labs and 1 cockerspaniel. 2 of the labs are puppies. It made for a restless week.

Nothing official yet, but we are thinking of two names:
1. "Elbow Brook Farm", for the Elbow Brook runs the full width of my property.
2. "Lindavid Acres", a combination of my wife Linda and my name David

We bought our property close to our thirty-fifth wedding anniversary. The book says that means I get to buy coral or jade. Jane had a better suggestion and we named our property Jade. No sign yet but there is a fellow in the next town that makes some wonder signs. I just have to come up with the cash.
GarLei Farms,
run by Gary and Leisa.
We have 7 springs and a well. So we call it: "Wellspring Acres"

From the first day we call our place Wildflowers Ranch. No sign or logo yet. See our Big Dream post here.
Before we built the building, we had to have the land rezoned and it needed a name for the rezoning, we called it Harleywood. When we built the building, over 3000 sq ft of shop with a small apartment, somehow my wife started calling it the shed, so that is what the building is called. When we head down there for the weekend we tell the dog that we are going to the farm and she goes nuts, she knows what that means, even if all we raise are a few vegetables, wood for the stove and a lot of ticks.
