A couple of years ago I posted a shot of an old 'cabin' that was on our farm. A local historical society had been promised they could remove it to include in their display of local original farm buildings (centerpiece is a grist mill built by old G. Washington himself. ) Well, it took two years but they finally got the removal organized.

This is the shot from two years ago, showing how the cabin has looked for a few decades. My wife called this the "Grapes of Wrath" shot.

No one seems to know quite how old the cabin is - I know it appears on an 1870 survey of the farm, but it may well be early 19th century.
