Seasoning for fried chicken

I'm looking for a good seasoning to put on chicken before frying it. Any family secrets or recipes out there?
Don't worry, I won't tell anyone.
Thanks in advance, JRF

I live in the Pacific Northwest and a favorite around here is "Johnny's". I think the chicken seasoning is pretty darn good.
They do sell online @ Johnny's Seasoning

Hi I make southern fried chicken. I put season salt and a bit of garlic powder in my flour. I dip the chicken in flour then in egg then back in flour. Makes a yummy crunchie chicken.

Garlic!

Try this:
3-4lb fryer, cut up
3 tablespoon peanut oil
1head(not clove!) garlic, peeled and coarsely chopped
1-2 small Thai chili's(Optional)
3/4 cup wine vinegar
1//4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons honey

Heat the oil in a large, thick heavy skillet. Brown chicken on all sides. Add garlic as chicken if finishing browning.

Add remianing ingredients. Cook over medium heat till chicken is done. Sauce should reduce slightly.

Put chicken on rice or noodles. drizzle with sauce.

This recipe is modified from one in a Gilroy garlic festival cookbook. It is real tasty, and gaurenteed to keep the vampires away.

It is also fairly simple, and pretty fast to cook up.
