Hey Pete -- long time no see! How are things going over there!?!?
PS: I agree about the pic. I have several nice shots of ice and snow that seem more appropriate.

But, Muhammad now lives in Arizona, so maybe he doesn't "feel" the cold like you guys!

Muhammad is in Arizona? I seem to recall discussing a roof problem he had over on the Tractor site. Everybody was trying to give solutions to the problem. I think I like Muhammad's best. Just move to Arizona!

Yes that was quite a discussion, and very helpful. Turned out to be connected to shrinkage of the sheaves or something like that. Essentialy a "cosmetic" problem---or at least that is what he was able to convince the buyer of his house.
Now he is in sunny AZ. Mighty nice about this time of year.

Bit chilly today, though, after those rains came through. Must've been in the mid-60's today, but the sun feels good.

Do you have to rub it in? 0 this moring + whatever the wind chill adds (subtracts?). Made for a chilly dog walk this morning.

It sure seems to be a real cold one back East this time. In my 32 years living in MD, I don't recall more than a few times it ever got as cold as it is there now.
I heard on the radio that here in the Baltimore Area last year -- we only had 1 day that the temperature never rose above freezing. This year we had 7 days in a row until yesterday, but now we are to have a few more days in a row again.

It's been in the mid 50's here, and that's at 5800 ft. elev. Been running water and power lines in tee shirts.
