Anyone know where Sam's get their beef. we buy the loin and cut into steaks. Its about 9 dollars a pound and we think it is really good beef but the label doesn't say where it came from.

Most likely a Steer.
I suppose you know it came from a bovine, so the question must be what is the country of origin. Impossibel to tell. The Agriculture Dept. doesn't require retailers to tell where the beef was actually raised. There is a bill before congress that would require country of origin to be printed on the package, but it the vote is being delayed because of the up-coming elections and the grocery wholesalers.
