I've got our Thanksgiving turkey on the smoker as i write.
I do it today , a day ahead over mesquite, along with venison summer sausage. That way tomorrow the oven is free for the side dishes and I munch on mesquite smoke venison summer sausage and swiss on crackers while I watch football.
And we all know turkey taste best the next day!! [img]/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif[/img]
