Pat,
I do have about 13 acres and do consider myself quite lucky to have it. That is a great name.
Thanks for your suggestion. I really do like this website...

The more I farm, the more I like "Starvation Plantation".
You ARE a redneck if... you knew someone whose last words were "Hey y'all, watch this!"
We just bought our 40 acres and are still trying to agree on a name.
DW wants things like "Heavenly Acres" and I lean toward stuff like "The Hind 40". (North, South, East & West already being taken).
We only have an acre but I think names for log homes are a little more common than stick-built homes. Ours is Wildernest.
Livin' the dream.

Shortly after we moved to our farm, we had to put down a seven year old horse. Two operations on an invasive tumer in her nasal passages failed though we did see her through two more years of life.
We have some good views so when we buried her up on the hill we named the place "Angel's View Farm" for her.
"STOLEN DREAMS" Thats are little pet name. Most places are named after the old timers who first homesteaded even after they have been gone 100 years. "harris Ranch" "Godfrey Ranch" people actually call our house piece "Peiters"(pet-ers).
HEY yall new here cool site
