Hi all,
OK, I'm probably having a DUH moment, but there is something I don't understand about pond aeration. I've read this article, "Aeration Simplified" in the Pond Boss magazine, it was a well written, informative, and pointed out some of the benefits of different types of aeration. Fine, fish need oxygen to live, but don't they get the oxygen from the medium they're living in? In other words, if there is water, H2O, then there is also oxygen; if there were no oxygen, there would be no water! And if there is water, then the fish should be able to "breathe" the oxygen?
OK, like I said I'm probably having one of those DUH moments, but could somebody explain the error of my thinking, and in simple terms please; as you can see, I have problems with chemical terms like H2O!
Thanks
