Oh no- We ran out of food when the vet was closed over the holidays. I had to give fatty tunafish one time a day for 3 days. He got a lot worse after that. so the vet said no more human food at all. It had to be only the special diet food. I'm not risking it either. It broke my heart seeing him running back and forth and I won't let him get that way again!

How sad! Maybe your cat is more sensitive to it than mine. I don't blame you for not wanting to risk it. His health is a lot more important than treats! It's so hard to watch a pet suffer.

It is sad really. You should see him beg when I open a can of tuna fish! He just wants a bit of the juice. I am going to call the vet and see if he can have milk or the juice. He just said to not give him any of the tuna or anything food wise. Maybe the juice would be ok.
