We are living in Chile, South America right now and we have small, green hummingbirds here. I often see them out my office window fluttering around the blossoms on my almond tree. Has anyone seen the green ones anywhere else?

There are some that are green in color here in Georgia as well. From what I understand those are the males as with most birds the males are the more colorful of the two. You can find a lot about hummingbirds and the different types if you do a search for them.
I used to live in the Ozarks and I've seen some of those. At least I think they were green. It's been so long now, I can't remember exactly, but I know they weren't the usual color.
