We have tub units that are on outside walls with insulation behind them, no dry wall. They are finished with drywall around them. All plumbing is on inside wall. I think condensation from the cold outside wall is getting the wall wet and making it bow. I'm wondering if any of you country folks has seen this and did something about it. I want to add insulation from the outside wall and reseal.
depending on where you are located I think you will need some sort of vapor retarder between the interior "outside" wall and the insulation of that wall....not sure how you'll do that without gutting the wall?
