Does anybody have a Wrangler? Are you happy with it? I was thinking about getting one because I need a vehicle that is good for off road conditions. I saw that they have four door models now which would be really convenient with the baby.

I owned one for 16 years. Liked it a lot, needed a truck, bye bye Jeep. If you off road, seriously, buy the Rubicon model. Comes with factory lockers. They are great off road. I used mine , with air lockers, to tow a stuck tow truck. Have fun and stay safe.
Thanks, Nue, I'll look into that. It's not that I seek to off road much. I live down a private one mile road that really isn't a road at all. Getting to my house without 4 wheel drive is absolutely impossible so I currently have a Pathfinder that is taking a serious beating. I figured a Wrangler would go through this mess with a lot less stress and would probably spend less time in the shop.
where are you located? I cant see a wrangler doing much better then a pathfinder (depending on the year). how bad is the road? mybe look at a used Landrover, or Hummer H1 or H2....
In stock form the Jeep Rubicon should out perform and last longer most other stock 4X4s and out perform a lot of non stock ones. Just MHO
Have fun and stay safe.....
so you have your jeep, is there any possibility that i can lower the jeep seats? is it easy that i alone can do it?
Where are you? I have the 2000 jeep cherokee that is in the shed being stored currently in Minnesota.
No fun, change the rules!!!
I've never actually owned a Jeep Wrangler, but I've always thought it would be cool to own one. It just has that adventurous quality to it that intrigues me. I don't think I'll ever get around to actually having one, though.
My first car was a wrangler!! I loved that Jeep, I always have a soft spot for them when I see them on the roads. The only thing I didn't like is mine was a manual which my dad forced me to learn, I guess not a bad thing but now I drive an automatic and it's much easier on the left leg!! Also they still look almost the same which I think is a good thing.
